Monthly Accomplishment Reports for all interns are due on the 5th day of the following month. Log into your Conservation Legacy Community Portal to complete and submit this report.
It is extremely important that you submit as much data as possible in these reports. Data collected from these reports go back to our federal, state and local partners, and AmeriCorps to fulfill grant requirements and to assess overall program impact. Do your best to fill in as many boxes that apply to your position. Below are the main sections with a description of what information should be submitted:
Brief Accomplishment Summary – Everyone should complete this box with a summary of your month. Include any stories you are excited about and trainings/certifications you may have received.
AmeriCorps Performance Measures- Acres and miles of land improved, maintained, surveyed or mapped. Complete this section if your position revolves around natural resource management, invasive species management, or land easement monitoring. 1 acre is approximately the size of a football field. Please estimate this to the best of your ability.
Total Volunteer Engagement- If your work involves engaging volunteers in fieldwork, training volunteers, etc.
Outreach – Includes digital and in person outreach. Community engagement events, community members engagement, materials developed, etc. If you lead any public presentations, events, tabling, work in a public facing capacity, or develop digital materials to be shared with the public. Estimate the number of people you engage with in your role and events you were apart of.
Community Improvement Measurements - If your role includes resource management and historical preservation.
Restoration Projects – Invasive species removed, trails, land management plans, water sampling, other public lands. If your role involves invasive species management, resource management, historical preservation, or land easement monitoring.
Educational Support- If your role includes engaging with the public, education and interpretation, cultural resources, public events and outreach, or development of education materials.
If your position is unique and none of the above apply, please submit a typed report based on your accomplishments you think are important by uploading it at the bottom of the form.
